AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM DIRECTOR
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM DIRECTOR and LEAD FACILITATOR
As program director and lead facilitator for the after school program, your responsibilities include:
Program FACILITATION, Leadership & Management
Develop, implement, and evaluate the after school program’s curriculum and daily schedule.
Coordinate after school pick ups and lead the Agile Explorers program.
Ensure all activities align with the program’s mission and goals (e.g., enrichment, academic support, creativity, social-emotional development).
Provide leadership in maintaining a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment.
Student & Family Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for families regarding the program.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians via BAND app, email, phone, or in-person.
Handle behavior issues or concerns with professionalism and care.
Organize family events, showcases, or open houses related to the after school program.
Operations & Administration
Manage daily operations of the program, including attendance, scheduling, and logistics.
Maintain accurate records (enrollment, attendance, incident reports, etc.)
Order and maintain supplies and materials needed for programming.
Program Development & Evaluation
Assess program effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and observations.
Develop new initiatives or partnerships that expand opportunities for students.
Budgeting & Fundraising
Develop and manage the program’s budget.
Work with leadership to secure funding or grants if needed.
Monitor expenditures and maintain financial records.
Community & School Collaboration
Coordinate with school personnel, local organizations, and community partners.
Ensure alignment between school-day learning and after school programming.
This is a part-time position. 20-25 hours per week.
