Education, Arts, and Wellness for the Community

EDUCATION

Cottonwood facilitates the growth, engagement, and connection of young people by hosting a community of homeschoolers ages 5 and up. We connect our young people globally through collaboration with other microschools from around the world.

WORKSHOPS & EXHIBITIONS

Longterm project-based learning at Cottonwood culminates in public events and exhibitions.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Cottonwood serves our local public schools through afterschool enrichment programs every day, themed classes, and school holiday camps throughout the year.

SUMMER CAMPS

Each summer Cottonwood brings in creative residents eager to collaborate with young people and share their craft with the community. Summer Camps at Cottonwood in New York and Montana are filled with adventure, creativity, and community building.

RESIDENCIES

Resident Facilitators operate as guides and supports of the Cottonwood learning programs and have the opportunity to develop their own personal practice using our facilities.

WELLNESS OFFERINGS

Cottonwood supports the development of creative practice in the form of wellness exploration and offerings.

Cottonwood is committed to radically shifting the way we think about learning, developing creative practices and what it means to be in community. We support learning through experience, provide time for in-depth exploration of all art forms, and hold space for celebration, sharing and connection.
